You consider, feeling your hair and looking at your fingernails, and realize that she is absolutely right.  With everything else that has been happening, you had only been dimly aware of it before, but your nails and hair are well overdue for a trim.

You want to protest some more, but Mrs. Anderson is a force of nature and you find yourself walking meekly behind her out the door.
