You've been fighting this every step of the way, but as you stare at yourself in the mirror, you realize just how pretty you are now and it takes your breath away.  //That's me,// you think.  You think about all the things that have happened in the last couple of days and conclude that maybe you'd be happy being a girl if you just stopped fighting it.

"How about something more feminine?" you say.

"Parker!" Mrs. Anderson says with a gasp.<<else>>"I think long is good," [[you|You]] say.

"That's the spirit, Parker," [[Mrs. Anderson]] says.<<endif>>  "I'm so proud of you.  You will not believe how beautiful I'm going to make you.  You are going to be the envy of the school.  You have such beautiful blonde hair....  Though you don't have to stay a blonde if you'd prefer something else.  Brunette like me, maybe.  Or red like your mother, perhaps.  That's for another day though as we don't have time today.  It's not quite as long as I'd like it, but it will be in a couple of days and we can redo it then."

She takes the mirror from you and has you lean back into the sink so she can shampoo your hair.  When she's finished rinsing your hair, she has you sit in the styling chair and put on a cape and she gets to work.  It is obviously a labor of love for her as she hums to herself happily while she's cutting and curling your hair.  You anxiously try to see what she's doing, but eventually you just give up and relax, enjoying the experience. 

When she's done, she gives you a mirror and you take a look at yourself and gasp.  Your blonde, curly hair frames your face to stunning effect.  You can't believe how much more beautiful this hairstyle makes you look.

"Wait until you see yourself with makeup, Parker," Mrs. Anderson says, obviously pleased with your reaction.  "But first, I need to give you a manicure and a pedicure.  Why don't we put some polish on all of your nails, Parker?  For right now, I recommend red or pink."
