:: Let's go shopping. {"position":"1130,2250"} [[Julia]] starts up the car and the two of you drive to the mall. [[You]] tell Julia about Mrs. Anderson's credit card on the way. "That was awfully nice of her," she says. The two of you drive up to a small guardhouse sort of like a toll booth. A bored looking security guard standing at the entrance. "ID please," he says. Julia digs out her ID, but you have to admit you don't have yours on you. "Can't let you in without an ID," he says. "Parker is staying with the Andersons. She just moved here," Julia says. "Oh, I know. Show him Mrs. Anderson's credit card." You show him the credit card and he looks at it dubiously. "This is hers all right, but how do I know you didn't steal it?" Julia looks indignant. "Do we look like thieves to you?" He looks the two of you over, making you a bit uncomfortable. "'Spose not," he says. "All right, go on in." He opens the gate and the two of you drive in to the mall parking lot. You ask Julia, "So what was that all about? It's like they don't want people to shop here." "They don't want the wrong people shopping here," Julia says. "It's a Rosestead thing. You'll see." The mall is much smaller than you were expecting, but you suppose that makes sense, considering that only locals are allowed to shop here. When the two of you enter the mall, you immediately see what she was talking about its being a "Rosestead thing." For one thing, some of the people in the mall get your attention immediately. There's one woman who's practically naked except for a blindfold and a bikini which seems to be made out of floss. She's being led on a leash by a respectable looking older couple. That's the most remarkable sight, but by no means the only one. There are a surprising number of female couples and in almost all of them, you can immediately tell which one is in charge, with the subservient partner often loaded down with all the bags or following a few steps behind and mirroring the other's moves, or similar "tells." There are also a staggering number of shops exclusively devoted to sex: toys, bondage gear, revealing clothing, lingerie, and so on. Of course, there are more normal things. Apparently even Rosestead doesn't run on sex alone. There are normal clothing stores, shoe shops, and places to buy food, like you'd find in any mall. "Anything you're particularly interested in, Parker?" Julia asks.<> "Given the way you stood up to Rachel and that kiss you gave me, I really think you're going to want some of the tools of the trade." "Tools of the trade?" you say. She blushes and looks at her feet. "You know, collars, paddles, dildos, harnesses, anything you think you might need to keep a girl in line. Of course, not everyone goes in for that sort of thing. And I'm not implying that you'd //need// anything like that." She's practically mumbling, but you get the gist.<> [[Let's shop for sex toys.]] [[Let's shop for clothes.]]
