:: Go to dinner. <><><>[[You]] and [[Mrs. Anderson]] walk into the dining room where [[Mr. Anderson]], Belinda, and Ethan are already seated. There are audible gasps when they see you and Belinda claps her hands together girlishly in delight. All three of them jump to their feet and look you up and down carefully. You find yourself very excited by the attention, although also a little embarrassed and self-conscious. After a pause of probably only a few seconds, but which seems like forever, Ethan pipes up with "Geez, sport, you're hot as hell." <>His eyes are fixated on your bosom.<> Mr. Anderson glares at him. "Ethan, that's no way to talk to a lady." Ethan blushes and looks down at his feet. "Sorry, Parker. I mean you look really great." "That's better," says Mr. Anderson. "Well, Parker, I must say this is a surprise. I take it you have decided to accept the verdict of the Process after all. I believe that is a very wise decision. And, may I add, you got very lucky since there is no question you are incredibly beautiful." He takes your hand and kisses it. <>You are especially embarrassed to be this close to Mr. Anderson after what you did with his wife half an hour ago. You are terribly worried that he can tell just by the look on your face. <>He continues, "<><><><><><>Hmm, I've always loved that scent you're wearing. One of my wife's, I believe. And is that one of Belinda's dresses? I don't think I've ever seen her in it." "It never really worked on me, Daddy," Belinda says. "It looks much better on Parker." Ethan mumbles something to Belinda which you don't quite catch, but ends with "on the floor" and Belinda kicks him. "Parker," Belinda says. "I am so happy for you! I can't wait until the boys at school see you tomorrow. You are going to turn heads! Mom, did you say Parker was getting a new wardrobe tomorrow?" "Yes," Mrs. Anderson says. "It should be here well before school starts. Your father helped me make an educated guess on sizes. If Parker keeps changing, we can always return anything that doesn't fit.<><><>" "Would you mind if I came by and helped her select an outfit tomorrow?" Belinda asks. Mrs. Anderson looks sour. "Well, we all know the kind of outfit you'd select for her. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have your input. I'll be by to help as well. But Parker gets to make the final decision. Remember to wake up about an hour earlier than usual, Parker. Ethan, would you get Parker's chair for her?" Ethan holds your chair for you to sit down in, which makes you feel quite elegant and feminine. <><>Ethan bends down and whispers in your ear, "Hey, sport, you remember how you were talking about wanting to see //The Towering Dark//? I thought you and I could go see it and maybe get some ice cream afterwards. You know, if you want. There's an eight o'clock showing so meet me in the foyer about seven thirty if you're interested." You just stare in bewilderment, not sure what to make of this. <>You sit down, surprised again at how much more cushioned your bottom is, and Ethan pushes your chair in for you.<>[[You]] go down to dinner. The entire Anderson family is already gathered. [[Mr. Anderson]] says, "Well, hello, Parker. <>My wife was just telling us she gave you a haircut. It looks very good on you. <><>I must say that new hairstyle is very attractive on you, Parker. I'm glad to see that you're coming to terms with the Process. <><>I also like what you've done with your makeup. Quite stunning. <>Have a seat. We're having quail tonight. I think you'll quite like it." You take a seat.<> Dinner is served by one of the kitchen staff and it is quite excellent. <>You engage in extremely pleasant conversation with the entire family and you feel oddly comfortable with them. Belinda and Ethan talk about school and it's obvious Belinda is a much better student than Ethan, in fact one of the best in the school, which surprises you. Mr. Anderson turns out to be quite the raconteur and regales everybody with very entertaining stories of mountain climbing and traveling in between asking you about the town you grew up in, your old school, and your old friends.<>You are fairly quiet through dinner and listen to them talk. Belinda and Ethan talk about school and it's obvious Belinda is a much better student than Ethan, in fact one of the best in the school, which surprises you. Mr. Anderson tells some boring stories about mountain climbing and traveling and occasionally asks you questions about your life before you came to Rosestead.<> Finally, dinner is done and everybody separates. In a strange reversal of the usual order of things, [[Belinda]] says she's going to stay in to do her trig homework from Mrs. Donovan's class and [[Ethan]] announces he'll be going out tonight. <>He gives you a significant look when he says this.<> You decide to head back to your room to think about the events of the day and consider what you're going to do tonight. <>You have to admit; your debut as a girl seems to have been a smashing success.<> [[Go back to your room.]]
