:: Go shopping with Julia. {"position":"850,1970"} <><>Deciding to go shopping with Julia, you figure you should call Billy to cancel your date for tonight. You quickly call him up and explain to him that something has come up. He seems disappointed, but all right with it.<> <><>You decide you'd better cancel your date with Ethan before going shopping with Julia. You go to see [[him|Ethan]] and explain that you're going out with shopping instead. He looks very disappointed and you feel really badly about it.<> <> [[You]] call Julia and tell her you're ready to go.<><> "Great!" she says. "I'll be right by to pick you up. I should be there in about five minutes." You hang up and go to try to find your mother to get some spending money. You run into [[Belinda]] in the foyer. "Hey, Belinda," you say. "Do you know where my mother is?" "I think she's probably in her room," she says. "What do you need her for?" "I was going to go out shopping and I wanted to ask her for a little spending money," you reply. "You know, I don't think I'm entirely sure I know where her room is." "I'll show you," says Belinda. The two of you walk through the kitchen and into a hall. You realize, somewhat startled, that you are in the servants' quarters. This strikes you as very odd since you know there are unoccupied guest rooms such as the one you're in. Belinda points you to a door at the end of the hall. "That's her room," she says and turns to walk off. You walk down the hall to the door and hear noises coming from inside the room which you can't quite identify. You give a sharp knock on the door. "Just a second!" a female voice says from inside. A couple of minutes later, the door opens a crack and [[Mrs. Anderson]], dressed as elegantly as ever but with a slight amount of perspiration on her forehead, looks through the crack at you. "Oh, Parker!" she says, smiling broadly. "I'm afraid your mother's a little tied up right now. Can I tell her what you need her for?" You stammer a bit. "Um, I was going to go out shopping and was looking for a little spending money." "Just a second," she says. She closes the door and then opens it a crack again, handing out a credit card. "Here you go, Parker. There's a $25,000 limit on that card. Spend as much as you like." You take the card and she closes the door without even giving you a chance to thank her. Shaking your head and <>frankly a little jealous of Mrs. Anderson<>deciding you don't even want to know what that was all about<>, you go outside to wait for Julia. She's already waiting for you in the driveway and gives you a wave. She's driving a rather nice looking sports car, so you assume her parents must be pretty well-to-do. You get into the car and notice [[she|Julia]]'s really dressed up nicely, though demurely by Rosestead standards, as if she's going on a date. "Hi, Parker!" she says. "Glad you could make it.<> I love the outfit!<><> I like the belly button piercing!<>"<> She looks at you expectantly. You think she might be looking for you to give her a kiss, but you wonder if that wouldn't be a bit too aggressive this early.<> <>[[Give her a kiss.]] <>[[Let's go shopping.]]
