:: Ask Billy what he and Mr. Anderson talked about last night. {"position":"430,3370"} <><>Before the two of you even get to the car, [[you|You]]<>[[You]]<> ask, "So what happened between you and Mr. Anderson last night? Is that what you wanted to talk to me about?" "Yeah," [[Billy]] says<>, as you get into his car. When he gets into the car himself, he starts it up and you start the journey back to your hometown. Billy then says<>, "Mr. Anderson's a pretty cool dude, you know. A little scary, but he seems all right after all. He basically asked me what I wanted done with my stepfather. Just like you, I didn't like the idea of an arrest or trial or any of that jazz. I told him I'd prefer if my mother didn't hear about any of it." "So what did he say?" you ask. "Well, he asked me if I wanted my stepfather out of our lives and I said I thought my mother would be better off without him. Since he's been unemployed, he's not really contributing, you know?" Billy says. You nod. "Anyway, he said he thought that could be arranged. Sure enough, when I got home from school today, the son-of-a-bitch had packed up all his things and left. No note, nothing." You gasp a bit in surprise. "Where do you think he went?" Billy says, "I have no idea. I'm pretty sure Mr. Anderson paid him off to relocate." "You don't think Mr. Anderson...?" You put your finger to your temple like a gun. "Naw," Billy says. "Well, I suppose he could have after he packed, but the packing was definitely done by my stepfather. All of the things that were his were gone. Nobody but me, my mother, or him could have done that. You think that's the kind of thing Mr. Anderson would do?" "Well, probably not," you admit, "but I don't really know. He didn't really show it, but I could tell he was really mad last night." "Yeah, but when he was talking to me, he seemed to have a little sympathy for him. He said very long exposure to your pheromones can have unpredictable effects on guys who aren't used to it. He also said my stepfather wouldn't have done something like that, no matter what, if he weren't the kind of guy who could do something like that. Sorry, did that make sense?" You nod. He continues, "But even so, he said that he probably wouldn't have done it if not for the pheromones, so Mr. Anderson said he partly blamed himself. So I definitely don't think he hurt him. I think he just got him to move out." "So are you happy with that?" you ask. "Oh yeah! My mom cried a little when she came home, but she'll get over it. I think she knows she's better off without him," he says. Then he stops talking and looks thoughtful. <>[[Tell Billy you're a girl now.]]<>[[Go to the arcade.]]<>
