You hurry over and get into the car.

The two of you start driving and you wonder where she plans on taking you. Emily has virtually never asked your opinion before.  She has always called all the shots on dates.  Frankly, she's always rather bossed you around.  Since you've always just been happy to have a girlfriend, you've never complained about it.  You half wonder if this is some sort of test.

Her suggestion, //The Light and the Waltz//, is a romantic comedy, a genre you really never cared for.  The trailers you've seen have convinced you that you'll find it desperately dull, but you're equally certain Emily will love it.
